I'm Ian, a wheelchair user living in Jersey. On my IT51AN channels I share everyday life with a disability, honest first-hand testing of mobility equipment, and the technology that's helping me get out and live a better life.

I'm a Co-Designer, Beta Tester and Ambassador for the Strutt EV1 smart power chair, testing new features in the real world and watching it get smarter with every over-the-air (OTA) update.
- Follow Mode: early beta testing of autonomous Follow Mode. The chair locks onto my wife and follows her, so I can save energy and enjoy a stress-free ride.

A carbon-fibre folding power chair under 16kg. I bought one five years ago as my travel chair, mainly for flying.

IT & AI for the disabled community
Technology is changing what's possible for wheelchair users. AI-assisted driving, LiDAR sensing, autonomous following and over-the-air updates mean less effort, more confidence and fewer barriers to getting out into the world.
- I've had AI drive my chair from one room to another. It's not tomorrow's world, it's happening today.
